RESTOR-ME is a fully managed remote backup and recovery service for all your home computing needs. RESTOR-ME makes it fast and easy to protect your important data in our secure, highly resilient Data Centre.

Getting Started:
You will be provided with secure access to our download page where you can download the RESTOR-ME Lite Client.
Full instructions will be provided on how to install this software on your home computer.
Each RESTOR-ME Lite Client comes pre-configured based upon the information you provided at the time of signing up for this online service. This should make your installation quick and straightforward.
Your monthly fee is based upon the amount of protected data you have, plus incremental backups. This is then held in our Primary Vault for 60 days.
RESTOR-ME utilises RAID arrays at every stage of the backup and archiving process – Primary Vault, Secondary Vault and Long Term Vault.
Using the software tools available within RESTOR-ME you can manage how your data vault grows in order to manage your monthly fees.
Backup Lifecycle Manager (BLM) can be implemented at an additional cost and will enable you to migrate data from the Primary Vault to a Secondary Vault so you can continue to archive data without increasing monthly fees. Data is held on our Secondary Vault for a further 120 days. This is priced on a per/Gbyte/Month basis.
Archiving for periods greater than 180 days is available at an additional monthly fee per/Gbyte/Month. This data is held on ATA/SATA RAID arrays for as long as you need, enabling you to meet the appropriate compliance and legislative requirements placed upon your business.
In the event of installation queries or if your backup does not work properly the first time, our online Help Desk or extensive FAQ section should be sufficient to guide you through correct installation and configuration.

Restoring Data:
Restor-Me UK Ltd will hold a single instance of your backup data at our Primary UK Data Centre.
In the event that you need to restore any files due to accidental deletion, corruption or PC failure, you have three options available:
In the event of a failure – Application or File Server data loss – you have three options available to you for restore as standard:
- If the files, folders, e-mail, etc. are small (<= 10Gbyte), it is possible dependant on the WAN service you have, to restore this data across the WAN using the RESTOR-ME client. Assuming a 4Mbps download capability it could be possible to restore 10Gbyte of data in less than six hours.
- For restores greater than10Gybte, or where your broadband service does not provice adequate download bandwidth, Restor-Me UK Ltd will send the appropriate backup data to you on DVD by Royal Mail.
- For a fixed fee we will provide you with the appropriate data on a suitable mass storage device by the following business day.
